Players take on the role of a vampire embroiled in a power struggle between two powerful factions, the Camarilla and the Anarchs, competing for dominance in the neon-lit city of New York.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York is a narrative experience set in the dark and mysterious World of Darkness. This game allows players to explore the struggles for power between two vampiric factions - the Camarilla and the Anarchs - in the romantic and captivating city of New York. Players can choose from three pre-defined characters to play as a Ventrue, Toreador or Brujah and can experience a unique, atmospheric and single-player experience.

The game provides a character-oriented quest system which allows players to meet four unique non-playable characters. Each character has their own agenda and players must win their hearts and minds to gain their assistance in the game’s grand finale. Depending on the player’s clan choice, they will be able to witness events from a distinct perspective.

Players will need to take part in the struggle for power between the Camarilla and the Anarchs and interact with key NPCs to build relationships and learn their secrets.

Players will feast on the living and must keep track of their Hunger or risk giving in to the Beast, a dark side of their nature which only wishes to feed. Players will be able to use Disciplines to help them in conversations and combat, but must be aware that each use of a Discipline will increase their level of Hunger.
