United Assault - Normandy '44 is an open world rogue lite FPS set in 1944’s depiction of Normandy. As a US Army paratrooper, players are dropped into enemy territory to prepare for D-Day and must complete objectives including destroying Panzer IV tanks, Flak 88 cannons, obtaining secret documents, and liberating entire towns. Upon completion of objectives, rewards are given and higher ranks unlock new weapons and start loadouts.

The game features 15 towns and settlements based on real world locations, a dynamic mission generator, over 15 authentic weapons, a detailed progression system, and Nvidia DLSS 2.0 support. With the new Content Update #01, the size of the open world has been doubled, with 4 new towns and Utah Beach as an accessible area. AI has also been improved.

Players can customize their avatar and choose between a variety of weapons and equipment, such as M1 Garand, Thompson, and M1911 pistols. Various customizations, upgrades, and perks can be unlocked as the player progresses.
