In Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon, players take charge of one of three factions - the mighty Vikings, sly Persians, or brutish Demons - in an action-packed side-scrolling RTS game. Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon is an action-packed side-scrolling real-time strategy game from the makers of Awesomenauts. Players take command of mighty Vikings, sly Persians or brutish Demons in their quest to control the map and push the enemy back to their base. Commanders must defend their own base while doing their best to destroy the enemy's, in a highly tactical tug of war.

The game features an extensive 45 level single-player campaign where players take control of Redbeard and his Vikings to defeat the forces of evil in their quest to retrieve the sheep that have been stolen from their favourite shawarma shack. Players have the choice of three deadly factions, each with their own unique units, spells and buildings, as well as distinctive strengths and weaknesses. There are over 45 units, spells and buildings to choose from to create the perfect custom army to counter any strategy.

Players can battle AI opponents in skirmish mode, or compete in online and split-screen multiplayer. Online players can enjoy intense 1 v 1 battles, or level their opponent's base. Players can even enjoy mini-games while waiting for their rival to show up online.
