Welcome to Warsim: The Realm of Aslona, a deep and rich text-based kingdom management game that boasts charming ASCII graphics and millions of procedurally generated races, events, and areas. Every playthrough is unique, as the player is given the freedom to make their own choices and face the consequences that follow.

The world of Warsim is vast and filled with over 100 locations to be visited, plundered, and bought. Explore the Blackmarket with its mystery and wonder, unearth hidden cities, and uncover cult-like towns. With a procedurally generated race system, a player could never experience the same race twice. These races come with their own birth rate, civility, unique units, laws, societal standards, and racial abilities.

The throne room is the hub of the kingdom where the player will be tasked with dealing with the people of their realm. From gamblers, bards, and tricksters to mercenaries and common folk, the player will have to decide how they want to manage their kingdom. Do they want to install trap doors and send those foolish enough to visit them plummeting to their deaths? Or do they want to hire a competent steward to deal with them in their stead? It’s completely up to the player.

The Arena is another important location within the kingdom. Heroes rise and fall, wise gamblers make their fortune, and tournaments are held for the entertainment of the public. The player can take control of the Arena, setting the cost of entry, changing the rules, and upgrading it as they see fit.

When the player gets bored with ruling their kingdom, they can play one of the many games littered throughout the taverns of the world. From Snail Racing and Bat Racing to Rat Racing and Rock Paper Scissors, the player can pass the time and perhaps make a fortune by gambling. They can even listen to the procedurally generated songs of the bards and visit exclusive celebrations around the world.

If the player is feeling particularly daring, they can even enslave beasts of the underworld and train them for fighting. They can build a monster pit in their kingdom and hold up to 3 of the 27,000 procedurally generated monsters inside. With 45 opponent trainers, the player will have to decide if they have what it takes.
