In September 1944, the Allies began an operation far behind the front lines to besiege Dunkirk. This siege continued until the end of World War II, and was considered a remarkable feat of Allied strength and determination.

Steel Division 2 – Nemesis #6 – Siege of Dunkirk is a real-time strategy game designed by the renowned developers, Eugen Systems. This game is set in the backdrop of the remarkable Allied siege of Axis-held Dunkirk on the French coast of the English Channel, which began in September 1944 and was only finished after World War II. The game is the sixth mini-expansion in the Steel Division 2 series, this time pitting the hardened and ever-raiding Festung Dunkirchen garrison against the Allied armored battlegroup CIABG composed of Czechoslovakian troops and Free French soldiers.

Nemesis: Siege of Dunkirk offers two brand-new battlegroups, each with its own unique units, including skins, voice lines, and weapon loadouts. The Festung Dunkirchen battlegroup is tasked with holding on to the strategic port of Dunkirk, and can deploy elite Stosstruppen and Jagdkampf raiders, as well as powerful artillery, support, and AA units. These include Soviet-made Flak 31(r) 88mm and emplaced aircraft guns Erdkampflafette 43, as well as captured French K 419(f) 155mm guns. This battlegroup excels in defensive combat.

In the opposing side, the Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade Group (CIABG) is made up of Czechoslovakian troops with British, Canadian, and Free French units. It's array of armored vehicles include the new recon Humber LRC Mk. III, the Cromwell VII, and uparmored Cromwell VIII. The CIABG also has access to strong artillery and AA forces, including siege guns such as the BL 7,2-inch 182,9mm and the FFO Fusiliers-Marins assault scouts. Players can command these two battlegroups in both solo and coop multiplayer, as well as the more traditional multiplayer mode.
