Software Inc. is an innovative indie simulation and strategy game that puts you in control of your own software business. You are tasked with building and designing office buildings, hiring employees to design, develop, support, research and market software, and competing in a simulated market.

The game provides a free-form building system with copy-paste tools to construct buildings up to ten stories and a basement. Roads and parking lots can also be built to ease commuting for your employees. You can customize your own employee avatar, create software products and franchises, and take on contracts for work and trading stocks.

You will need to tend to your employees’ needs, demands, skills and specializations, while making sure each team has compatible personalities. You can delegate important tasks to your team leaders, such as managing development cycles and human resources. You can also set up your own servers for products, source control, and running your own online store.
