This roguelike/metroidvania game is deceptive in its cutesy look, as it is actually a difficult bullet-hell challenge that will test your skills and wits in order to survive the vicious monsters lurking in the labyrinth.

Deep in the forgotten jungle, Patch Quest awaits any brave adventurers seeking to explore the untamed wilderness and its patchwork labyrinth. A Lasso is the only thing standing between them and the vicious monsters that lurk in the shadows.

Taking cues from roguelikes, metroidvanias and monster taming games, Patch Quest is a genre-defying whirlwind that will keep players coming back to expand their monster collection. The island of Patchlantis has been reclaimed by nature and is filled with monsters, rugged terrain and booby-trapped ruins. Each night, a powerful storm shuffles the island’s patchwork terrain, making each run a unique and challenging experience.

Players must rely on their Lasso to capture and tame any monster they encounter. With more than 50 unique species to collect, each one comes with its own set of skills. Some can fly, swim or leap across hazardous terrain, while others can pack a serious punch in combat.

As players explore deeper in to the island, they can unlock shortcuts and gather power ups to make their journey easier. Collecting monsters, plants and minerals will help them progress, as will gathering ammo fruits and blending them into powerful ammo smoothies.

The V1.0 launch is coming soon and is set to bring 10 new boss battles, new launch pads to carve fresh shortcuts, a final challenge sequence with a proper ending to the game, and a range of balance improvements and bug fixes.
