Outmode Game is an arcade racer with a retro-futuristic neon aesthetic set in the 1980s. Players race against legendary cars on beaches, cities, and highways, all while enjoying the synthwave-themed soundtrack. So buckle up and get ready for an exciting and thrilling ride!

Outmode is an intense arcade racer featuring a retro-futuristic neon aesthetic, inspired by the Outrun movement of the 80s. Players get up close and personal to their rivals, taking the wheel of a legendary pop-culture inspired car, as they do battle against their opponents across a variety of beaches, cities and highways.

The game features three different game modes; Tournament, Race, Endless and Time Attack. Each mode offers a unique gameplay experience, with the player able to customize their experience to their own preference. Additionally, players can use a Logitech Steering Wheel and controller for an even more immersive experience.

In Tournament mode, players must race across a tour of the Synthwave world of Outmode, with the reward being the chance to unlock new cars and characters, each with their own unique abilities and driving stats. Race mode is more traditional, with players using their abilities to battle their rivals. Endless mode allows players to drive until they reach the sunset, while Time Attack mode pits players against their previous best ghost on any map.

Players also have the option of listening to their own music or the provided soundtrack, which is illustrated with in-game audio visualisation. The game also features worldwide leaderboards, allowing players to compete to be the best. Finally, the game also supports split screen and local multiplayer, with Steam remote play support.

Outmode is a VR experience that requires a minimum of Windows 10 (64 Bit) and an Intel i3 processor, with 4 GB RAM and a Nvidia GeForce GT 720 graphics card, as well as 2 GB of available storage space. For the optimal experience, however, it is recommended to have an Intel i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 graphics card, DirectX 11 and 2 GB of available storage space. It is also supported by SteamVR, and requires either a keyboard or gamepad to be used. To add to the experience, it is suggested to wear leather gloves and tinted aviators, in order to make the VR experience even more immersive.
