Outer Terror is a thrilling new arcade-style roguelite game that pays homage to the classic horror comics and B-movies of the 80s and 90s. Developed by Salt & Pixel LLC and published by VoxPop Games, Inc., the game is set to be released on April 20, 2023.

In Outer Terror, players take on the role of one of 10 unique survivors as they battle hordes of otherworldly cosmic creatures. The game is set in 5 uniquely themed chapters, each with its own signature weapons and skills. As players progress through the game, they must explore overrun cities and assist the few survivors still around.

The game's art style is inspired by B-movies and classic comic books, featuring art from renowned digital artist Joe Roman (Chito). Two lone exiles are on a mission to rescue their loved ones while hoping to hide and barricade themselves within the shipping containers of an abandoned Industrial New York Cityscape.

The third volume, HUMANS are FOOD, takes place on the planet XNAOTNENVOW, where a processing plant deep underground refines a very peculiar kind of meat. A gifted teenaged prisoner named Samad and Cassie, an ex-combat vet turned mercenary, are in for a fight on their way back to the surface.

The fourth volume, SHROUD of TERROR, is set in a small northern Alaskan town where the sun has set, and months of darkness follow. A research team uncovers a mysterious tomb that appears to be feeding time. With horrors of the dark overrunning the entire town, a small group of survivors shelter in a secure research center but are almost out of fuel.

The anthology culminates in the shocking conclusion of Gray HELL. A good 'ol country boy and an insane circus performer must contend with their broken-down car after fleeing the horrors of the Las Vegas strip. These two unlikely partners must now head into the desert and enter THE DARK DIMENSION, but opening our world to this realm also welcomes its nightmares.
