Mist Survival is a single-player survival stealth sandbox game that immerses players in an apocalyptic world. In this post-virus pandemic world, players must find shelter, food and protect themselves from wildlife, bandits and the infected. The dense fog that blankets the landscape can bring unexpected events such as infected people hunting for prey.

Players must manage their time, crafting resources, building bases, and controlling camps of survivors. In the game, players can also look after animals and maintain their survival status by dealing with sickness, wounds and other ailments. The stealth and takedown mechanics, as well as the driving and small trap mechanics, all add to the immersive experience.

The game features a dynamic fog weather and day-night cycle, as well as time mechanics that accelerate when doing something that takes time. The world to explore includes forests, villages, military camps, small towns, and hidden areas.
