Project Zomboid is an open-ended zombie-infested sandbox that puts the player in a desperate struggle to survive. Set in the towns of Muldraugh and West Point, players must loot houses, build defences, scavenge supplies and do their best to evade the relentless horde of undead. With no help coming, their fate is in their own hands and how long they can last depends entirely on their cunning, luck and skills.

Project Zomboid has a range of features to help players survive in this unforgiving world. There is a hardcore RPG skillset, a vast map to explore and loot, vehicles with full physics and deep and realistic gameplay mechanics, tools and items to craft weapons and barricades, and an in-depth visual and hearing system for the zombies. Players must also deal with depression, boredom, hunger, thirst and illness while trying to survive. The day turns to night and the electricity falters, making it more difficult to stay alive. To help them cope with the harsh environment, players can farm, fish, carpentry, cook, trap and develop their character’s skills and perks depending on their in-game activities.

Project Zomboid also offers local 4 player split-screen co-op, online multiplayer survival with persistent player run servers and a ton of amazing atmospheric music tracks. Plus, there is full, open and powerful Lua modding support and Xbox Controller Gamepad support on Windows. There are also Challenge scenarios and an instant action ‘Last Stand’ mode to enjoy, as well as a cute tutorial raccoon.
