In MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, you take control of a BattleMech and fight for glory and revenge in a war-torn 3015. Level entire cities, decimate the enemy and manage an expanding mercenary company with up to four-player PvE co-op. Experience intense combat and strategic gameplay in this thrilling action game.

The year is 3015 and the Inner Sphere is home to thousands of star systems and an array of stunning biomes. War is rampant, with humanity divided into various factions all vying for supremacy. In this chaotic environment, Mercenary companies such as yours have the opportunity to capitalize big time.

As the leader of a Mercenary outfit, you’ll have a chance to seek glory and revenge, while managing your company and relationships with the Great Houses of the Inner Sphere. You’ll be piloting a BattleMech, a war machine capable of leveling entire cities. With over 50 unique ‘Mech chassis and hundreds of sub-variants, you’ll have plenty of choice when it comes to creating your own custom BattleMech.

The battlefields of the future will also see you take on tanks, ground vehicles, aircraft, and advanced defenses, with few things able to withstand the power of a ‘Mech for long. When you’re not in battle, you’ll need to manage the key components of running a Mercenary unit, from maintaining and acquiring ‘Mechs and equipment, to hiring MechWarriors from throughout the Inner Sphere.

The Inner Sphere is alive with activity and variety, with systems captured and reclaimed, major events unfolding, and new technologies coming to light. As you progress, the rigors of war will be seen with each passing week and your relationships with the various factions will fluctuate accordingly.

The Instant Action system will allow you to customize and kick off isolated missions at any time, while four-player co-op is supported both within the campaign and the Instant Action system. With a full editor and interface supporting gameplay mods, you’ll have the option to alter and expand the game in amazing ways.
