In this dangerous and thrilling world, you have been shrunk to the size of an ant, and must fight to survive in the backyard alongside the giant insects. Experience the beauty of the world at a whole new level and use your wits to survive the perils of the backyard.

The world is a vast and beautiful place, but it can become a dangerous place when you are shrunk to the size of an ant. In Grounded, a first-person, multiplayer, survival game, you must explore, build and fight for survival in a backyard filled with giant insects. Uncover the mysteries of why you have been shrunk and find a way back home while playing through the story.

You can choose to play solo or with up to three friends online. With the Shared Worlds feature, you can continue to play in the same world, even if the original host is not on, and all your progression will be saved. The backyard is full of different environments, such as the depths of the pond, the caverns of the termite den, and the sweltering heat of the sandbox. Activate the MIX.R devices to attract creatures to different places, but be warned, the more you interfere with them the higher the chance they will come knocking at your own door.

Customize your character with Mutations and Milk Molars to give them bonuses and perks. Craft and upgrade your armor and weapons to give your character the stats and advantages they need to survive the backyard. With the dangers of the backyard looming, it is time to go big or never go home. Grounded is developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios.
