The game follows the story of Mathias Schultz, a guy who is eager to earn some extra cash for his dream vacation to Thailand. He accepts a babysitting job from Mr. and Mrs. RoffleBurger, who are leaving for a vacation and need someone to look after their adorable cat family. Little does Mathias know, he is about to embark on a terrifying and unforgettable journey.

In Feline Shenanigans, players assume the role of Mathias Shultz, a brave and determined individual who is willing to face any challenge for the sake of earning ten thousand dollars. The RoffleBurger couple entrusts him with the responsibility of taking care of their cats inside their massive log cabin. However, Mathias soon realizes that these cats are far from ordinary. They possess supernatural abilities and a penchant for chaos, and they are determined to eliminate him from existence.

The game revolves around surviving an entire week in the presence of this vengeful cat family. Throughout the game, players will encounter each cat individually, including Koobu, Weex Moo Moo, Creamsicle, Dan, Wumbo, and even a wild baby lynx. Each cat has its own unique style and abilities for trying to take down Mathias. Depending on the particular cat encountered, players must run, hide, squirt, snuggle, feed, or stare to defend themselves. They must be smart, fast, clever, and cunning, making full use of the tools at their disposal to survive each terrifying night.
