Yeomna: The Legend of Dongbaek is an action-adventure game set in a mysterious underworld. Players take on the role of the half-demon exorcist Dongbaek, who is sent to the Seal Town by the order of Lord Yeomna. The game features a dream-like village and underworld inspired by traditional Korean paintings, and explores the story of Dongbaek and the secrets of Yeomna.

The game features a unique shapeshifting mechanic, allowing players to switch between human and feline forms to avoid traps and manipulate objects. Players can also uncover hidden places to get skills and various items to collect, as well as gather scrolls that hold the memories of Dongbaek and the secrets of Yeomna. Players will also have to strategically switch between gun and blade depending on the combat situations.

To make the game even more immersive, demons newly created, based on traditional images of Korean folklore, appear as friends or foes. The characters in the game are also created from a combination of traditional 2D frame-by-frame and skeleton animations.

The game also features a village-building mechanic, where players can rebuild the ruined village and become more powerful with the help of the villagers. Players can complete various cases requested by Yeomna though combat and adventure, ultimately aiming to save a child from the dark schemes.

The game is developed by catnipstudio and will be released on July 31, 2022. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
