In the small mining town of Goldcrest, something mysterious has happened, leaving the mayor to shut down the mine until further notice. Angel, determined to find out the truth, ventures inside the mine to rescue her husband and search for any survivors. Little did she know, lurking in the darkness are hordes of ghoulish creatures waiting to attack.

Tunnel of Doom is an action rogue-lite hybrid, combining tower-defense with melee and range combat elements. Players must scavenge the mine for resources which can be used to craft makeshift weapons and ammunition to battle the monsters. To increase the chances of success and survival, the player must strategically position cannons and barricades before battles begin.

The randomly generated layout of the mine, perks and monster battles change with each new game, making each experience different from the last. There are 50 perks to discover that offer an array of stat boosts and gameplay tweaks. Players who manage to escape the mine will unlock the Dream Mode, an endless challenge. Those who are brave enough will be rewarded with an unforgettable adventure.
