About The Wandering Village Game

In The Wandering Village, a city-building simulation game, players must build their own settlement on the back of a giant, wandering creature and form a symbiotic relationship with it in order to survive the hostile post-apocalyptic world, where poisonous plants contaminate the land. Players must balance the risks and rewards of the journey as they explore this beautiful but dangerous world.

In a post-apocalyptic world contaminated by mysterious plants, a small group of survivors have found sanctuary and a chance at a new life on the back of an enormous, wandering creature they call ‘Onbu’. As the leader of this small settlement, it is your job to create a society that can survive the hostile environment and form a symbiotic relationship with Onbu.

You will have to build your settlement and expand it over Onbu’s back, optimising production chains and utilising the limited space as efficiently as possible. As you travel through different biomes, you will have to continuously adapt your village to the unique climate zones, opportunities and threats that each presents. Send out foraging missions to gather rare resources and ancient artefacts, and research new technologies to ensure the survival of your villagers.

However, the odds are often stacked against you as poisonous spores, relentless weather, bloodsucking parasites and many more challenges await. You must be prepared to face these obstacles, and with the right strategy, you may be able to survive the wastelands and form a lasting symbiotic relationship with Onbu. Will you be able to overcome these challenges and create a thriving settlement? The choice is yours.
