About MetaPhysical Game

In MetaPhysical, up to 6 players team up to battle supernatural forces. They must identify and defeat eerie creatures such as ghosts and demons to put an end to their sinister activities. Players must be prepared for an unpredictable adventure as they hunt down the source of the supernatural activity.

Do you hear the eerie sounds in the night? The footsteps in the hallway? Do you see the figures lurking in the shadows? The supernatural is lurking in plain sight.

In MetaPhysical, you and up to five other friends can team up to hunt down and put a stop to these strange and mysterious creatures. Be it a ghost, a demon, or something else, you have to first identify the creature and then take it out.

Before you set off on your hunt, you will have to equip yourself with a host of helpful items. The catalogue contains everything you need, from EMF equipment and thermometers to carpets and holy water. Once you’re ready, you can look for your next mission in the newspaper.

Once you’ve arrived at the haunted house, you can use your equipment to search for any signs of the creature’s presence. You can consult your journal, which contains descriptions of all the supernatural creatures that you may encounter. Once you’ve figured out what creature it is, you can start working on how to take it down. For example, if it’s a normal ghost, you’ll have to burn the human remains.

In the house, you will find notes with possible names on them. If the majority of the notes point to a certain grave, you have to open it, pour gasoline and salt from your trunk on the bones and set them on fire. If the ghost bursts into flames, your job is done. If you run into trouble, you can leave the job at any time with your car.

The game uses random-based logic: ghost names, placement of notes, difficulty level or aggression of the creatures are reshaped at each level, so no game feels the same. You can also take one of six possible roles, such as a doctor, hunter, prepper, medium, psychologist, or priest, to help your team defeat even the most difficult creatures. Finally, you can also use the built-in voice function to communicate with the creatures or perform an exorcism.
