Five years ago, The Viscount and its crew set sail through The Pale Passage, an unforgiving frozen wasteland, in search of the mysterious absolute magnetic South. Unfortunately, the ship and its crew were lost to the ice, never to be seen again. Now, its sister ship, The Temperance, is taking the same journey in hopes of finding the answers that its predecessor was unable to.

The Pale Beyond is a polar exploration game that puts players in charge of an expedition across the ice and through the Pale Passage. It’s a stunning yet harsh landscape that can change at any moment, and every decision matters. You’ll have to manage your resources, balance safety and morale, and make the hard calls in order to survive the icy terrain and make it to the end.
