The Far Range is a mysterious and remote place, full of secrets waiting to be uncovered. Along the rocky spine of Great Bear, the Aurora Borealis lights up the night sky, while mysterious airfields, abandoned mines and forgotten railways remain silent witnesses to the secrets of the Far Territory. Will you brave the dangers and venture into the Long Dark to uncover its secrets?

Deep in the rugged mountains of Great Bear lies the Far Range, a mysterious land filled with secrets and untold stories. For centuries, adventurers have ventured into the Range, seeking hidden riches in the depths of the abandoned mines and remote airfields. Now, with the Aurora blazing in the sky, the Far Range is ready to be explored.

The Long Dark: Tales from the Far Territory is an Expansion Pass for The Long Dark’s Survival Mode, with multiple Parts to be released over the course of a 12-month campaign. Players will have the chance to uncover the secrets of the Far Territory, with new Regions, Gameplay Systems, Clothing and Food items, rare Tool variants, and much more.

The Expansion Pass includes three new Regions: Airfield, Mine and Mountain Pass, as well as three new Tales - narrative Challenges that tell the stories of the Range. New Gameplay Systems include Glimmer Fog, Insomnia, Handheld Shortwave, Travois, Trader, Safehouse Customization and more. Plus, fans of The Long Dark will enjoy 20+ minutes of new Survival music.

In addition to the Paid content, all Survival owners will receive a range of free updates, including a global resource overhaul for all Gear, Harvestables, Clothing and Wildlife spawns, as well as new Gameplay Systems like Improvised Cramp-Ons, Visor Notes, and Harvestables like Burdock and Acorns. Plus, there will be overhauls to existing systems like Fishing and Fire Starting, as well as new first-person Harvesting animations.
