About Super Indie Karts Game

Super Indie Karts is a classic 16 to 64-bit style karting game with Time Trials, Grand Prix, SplitscreenGP, and Battle Mania! It was Kickstarted late in 2014 and is expected to be completed in 202x, but Early Access is available now so you can join in the fun!

Super Indie Karts is a classic retro karting game, featuring classic and modern Indiegame characters and themed tracks. Players can choose from a variety of modes, such as Time Trials, Grand Prix, Splitscreen GP, Quick Race and Battle Mania. With over 40 tracks to choose from in 4 speed classes, plus mirror mode and plenty of achievements and unlocks to keep you busy, there is something for everyone!

The game features a variety of Indiegame crossovers, such as ToeJam & Earl, Burrito Bison, Mutant Mudds, Runbow, Freedom Planet, Teslagrad, Fist of Awesome and more. Players can choose from two different styles of tracks, 16-bit flat Super style and 64-bit low poly Ultra style. The Super style tracks feature shockingly bad draw distance, fast and small tracks, and obstacles that pop up right in front of you. The Ultra Update tracks feature increased draw distance and larger track area size, along with dizzying antigrav racetracks.

In addition, Super Indie Karts has a range of retro sensibilities, such as the world leading watermelon physics engine, 1992 style screen curvature and motion blur (optional) and Indie Game crossovers. Players can also expect to find weapons on the track, such as Meloons, Exploding Pangapples, Slippy Gelatos, Heat Seeking Loconuts, Giant Halloween Pumpkings, Mutant Tomms, and 3 different strength Chilli Boosts.

With Early Access, you can join in now and experience the game for yourself. Super Indie Karts boasts over 30 characters, 32 Super tracks, 8 Ultra (64) tracks, 4 Advanced tracks and 20 more tracks to come. You can play single player or 2/3/4 Player Splitscreen in Grand Prix mode (and in Mirror Mode), in Time Trials, and 9 arenas in Battle Mania, with more play modes, characters, and features being added each month.
