Strategic Command WWII: War in Europe is a turn-based strategy game that immerses players in the greatest conflict in modern history. As the commander of either the Axis or the Allies, players direct the efforts of each nation belonging to their alliance, deciding priorities, strategies, and coordinating global efforts to win the war.

The game offers a unique perspective on World War II, allowing players to be the supreme mastermind behind the entire conduct of operations. Each nation in the coalition has its own strengths and weaknesses, levels of technology, troops, equipment, and industrial capacity, and players must make the best use of all of them to achieve victory.

Waging war across land, sea, and air, players employ a wide range of historical units combined with multiple avenues of technological upgrades. The game features a top-down hex-based map where each hex covers 20 miles that includes all the key cities, railroads, logistical centers, and maritime trade routes. In addition to the Grand Campaign starting in 1939, Strategic Command also includes scenarios starting in 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, and 1944.

A realistic Fog of War simulates the historical atmosphere where players have to make decisions with only partial knowledge of their opponent's intentions and dispositions. Players can choose to play with a choice of 3-D unit graphics or NATO counters for a more traditional wargaming experience.

Research and upgrade units with a unique level of choices, including Infantry Weapons, Rockets, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Amphibious Warfare, and more. Use Diplomacy to win over new allies and use intelligence to undermine the enemy. With more than 100 unique strategic level Decision Events, players can experience the many key decisions that shaped World War II.

The game features a very easy-to-use editor to make your own "what-if" scenarios or create new maps and campaigns from scratch.
