Players take on the role of the last ship, tasked with the mission to survive a swarm of thousands of enemies. Players must select from a variety of weapons and upgrades to craft unique and overpowered builds each run. To do this, they must carefully control their ship with Newtonian physics past the swarm of enemies. Each kill will give players resources to upgrade their vessel, unlock new ships, or stack the odds in their favor.

Players can also turn the odds in their favor with Challenge Mode. This mode allows for unlocking new cards each run, purchasing, and adding new cards to their deck that is drawn when they level up in combat.
