Shadow of the Guild is a sidescrolling beat 'em up game with an epic story. Take on the role of Yarán, an assassin with powerful skills of both a mage and a warrior. Use your abilities to take out your enemies with powerful combo attacks, magical spells, and stealthy shadows.

Shadow of the Guild is an epic sidescrolling beat 'em up video game that follows the story of Yarán, a powerful warrior and mage hybrid who uses combo attacks and powerful spells to take down his enemies. Players have a choice to follow one of three skill trees: Warrior, Mage, or Assassin, as they explore five unique levels with their own visual identity, enemies, and cinematics.

The game's story takes place on the planet Aridia, a parched world where water is scarce and magic is omnipresent. To provide the people of Aridia with water, the Merchant Guild of Rain deploys hundreds of ships to capture clouds. The Eastern Empire, ruled by Emperor Gethro III, refuses to purchase the services of the Guild and instead creates its own cloud-capturing ships. After ten years, the Guild of Informers discovers that the Emperor has succeeded in creating clouds with their new technology.

In an effort to learn more about the technology, the Guild sends its best warrior to infiltrate the empire and discover the new inventions. In Shadow of the Guild, players will take on the role of this warrior, as they battle their way through the Eastern Empire, fighting off enemies and uncovering secrets. Along their journey, players will collect consumables, throwing weapons, and runes that will give them new skills. The game promises to provide 6-7 hours of average gameplay, with a unique visual style and a rich story. Shadow of the Guild is set to be released in 2022.
