In Scorchlands, you are in charge of creating and managing production of amazing resources on a volcanic moon. You must construct colonies, join them together with lasers, research new technology, and terraform the moon to make it hospitable. Through clever strategy and innovative thinking, you can make the most of this hostile environment.

The Giwi, a species of birdfolk known for their curiosity, have set their sights on a new destination: the volcanic moon, Helia. This new land is filled with exotic resources and opportunities, and the Giwi are determined to explore the moon and discover its secrets. But, they will soon find out that Helia is more than just a foreign land. It is a hostile environment filled with dangerous creatures, and it will take more than just curiosity to survive.

In order to make the best of this new land, the Giwi must use their knowledge of both science and magic to terraform the land, build colonies, and establish production chains for resources. They must build their colonies on the hex grid-based landscape, making sure to be strategic in where they place their buildings and how they connect them. Each structure’s productivity will depend on the resources around it and the other constructions it is connected to.

The Giwi must also manage their resources carefully. They must find ways to move resources between their colonies, as well as combine resources in processing chains. To make this easier, the Giwi will use powerful lasers to transport their resources.

Not only must the Giwi establish a strong economy, they must also fight off the hostile creatures that inhabit the land. In order to do this, they must use their knowledge of magic and technology to gain an advantage over their opponents. They must use their tech to discover new ways to attack their enemies and use their magic to create powerful spells and enchantments.

In order to fully discover the secrets of Helia, the Giwi must also build up their technology. They will use their knowledge of science and magic to unlock new discoveries, which will help them make better use of their resources and become more powerful.

Finally, the Giwi must use their knowledge of terraforming to change the biomes on the procedurally generated maps. By changing the biomes, they will gain access to new resources and open the doors to even more powerful technologies.
