In Rayman's world, nature and people peacefully coexist, until one day when the evil Mr. Dark steals the Great Protoon, the source of harmony and balance, from Betilla the Fairy. This evil act throws the world into chaos, and Rayman must now take up the challenge of restoring balance and peace.
