Project Winter is an 8-player multiplayer game that puts players' social deception and survival skills to the test. Communication and teamwork are the keys to success as players must work together to escape and survive while also trying to backstab their friends.

Project Winter is an 8 person multiplayer game with a focus on social deception and survival. It is developed by Other Ocean Interactive and published by Other Ocean Group. This game is an action-adventure game with a strategy twist. Players must work together as a team to complete objectives in order to call in one of several rescue vehicles and escape in order to win the game.

Players are either survivors or traitors. Survivors must gather resources, repair structures, and brave the wilderness together. They must repair all objectives to restore the cabin radio to working order, break rocks, harvest berries and herbs, and cut down trees to earn crafting materials used to repair objectives, and help keep them alive. They can also explore crates found in the buildings scattered throughout the map which contain items that will help them survive and complete their objectives.

Traitors must stop the survivors from escaping without being identified or killed. They have a red radio to communicate with their fellow traitor. They can use traitor crates and hatches scattered throughout the map to gain advantage against survivors.

Teamwork is essential to the survivors' ultimate goal of escape. Players who wander off on their own will have difficulty surviving the elements, can fall victim to hostile wildlife, or become easy targets for the traitors. Communication is key if the survivors have any hope of escaping. There are several ways to communicate with other players such as proximity-based voice chat, private voice chat radio channels, text chat and emotes.

The traitors are outnumbered and weak when the game begins, they may infiltrate the survivors and earn their trust while they build up their strength. Survivors can never be 100% sure of who to trust. The traitors can take advantage of this by spreading lies, and pitting the survivors against each other.

Project Winter offers multiple game modes such as basic, normal and custom mode. Players can also add some flair to their character with cosmetics that can be bought with the in-game currency earned after each match.

Project Winter is a fun game to play with friends as it adds an element of social deception which adds to the suspense of the game.
