The year is 1482, and the age of exploration and enlightenment is approaching. Across the continent, the Renaissance is beginning to take hold, but in England, the War of the Roses is still raging on. Despite this, one convent in the north of the kingdom seems to be blissfully unaware of the changes taking place all around them.

That is, until Sister Catherine, a beloved nun and firebrand thinker, is found murdered. Everyone is left baffled as to who could have committed such a heinous crime in such an isolated place. That's where you come in.

You are an Anchoress, a person who has taken a vow to never leave their cell, and to devote themselves entirely to God and provide spiritual support to those who seek it. As the only Sister who could not have possibly committed the crime, you have been asked to solve the case before the bishop decides to shut down the convent and the killer goes unpunished.

Mother Superior has not told the other Sisters the true reason for your arrival, but it is clear that many of them have their suspicions. In order to get to the bottom of the case, you will need to uncover who can be trusted, who is being honest, and who has something to hide.

But that is not all. Rumors of the convent being haunted have been circulating, and it is uncertain if that is connected to the murder in any way. You must also discover who killed Sister Catherine and if you are in any danger.

You must use all of your knowledge, intuition, and detective skills to unravel the mystery before the convent faces closure and the killer goes free. It will not be an easy task, and many of the Sisters may not be willing to answer your questions. But if you are brave, determined, and clever enough, you may just be able to solve the case and bring justice to the convent.
