At the close of the 21st century, one person took it upon themselves to rectify their own mistakes and save the world from its current downfall. Having been partially responsible for the current state of society, they set out to ease their own conscience and restore hope to humanity.

The 21st century was a time of great progress, but with progress came the potential for disaster. As the world moved closer to the brink of destruction, one individual stepped up to take responsibility for their part in the downfall. They set out to make amends, to save humanity from their own mistakes.

MANTRA is a fast-paced, movement-oriented, action FPS set in the near future. A growing force of robots, controlled by a corrupt AI, are on a mission to end the human race. As the creator of the original AI language, the player feels responsible for the impending apocalypse and makes it their personal goal to put an end to it.

In order to succeed, they need to take advantage of the advanced movement system featured in MANTRA. With an intuitive and dynamic control of the environment, they can move freely and quickly in any direction. This is furthered by the addition of the Grapple Hook, which allows the player to traverse obstacles and complex puzzles with ease.

The player must fight their way through the robot army, using their unique abilities and agility to their advantage. They must use their wits and agility to avoid incoming fire and defeat their robotic enemies. As they progress, they must also make use of the environment to their advantage. Finding hidden pathways and taking cover in hard-to-reach places are just a few of the strategies they must master in order to survive.

The player can also upgrade their character to gain access to new abilities. These can range from increased speed and agility to improved weapons and armor. These upgrades will give the player the edge they need to take on the toughest of foes.
