Knight's Tale is a modern retelling of the classic Arthurian mythology story, combining turn-based tactical gameplay and traditional RPG elements. Set in a dark fantasy world, the game offers a unique twist on the traditional tales of chivalry, allowing players to experience the story of King Arthur from a fresh perspective.

King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a modern retelling of the classic Arthurian mythology, filtered through dark fantasy tropes. Players take on the role of Sir Mordred, the nemesis of King Arthur, and are brought back to life by the Lady of the Lake to end a true nightmare. This hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs, invites players to manage a team of heroes, engage in moral choices and rebuild Camelot.

The battle between Arthur and Mordred brought death, and the consequences of the tragedy have slowly turned the magical island of Avalon into a nightmare version of Britannia. It is up to Mordred to find Arthur, and ultimately, kill him to end this accursed condition.

Players will be able to manage a team of heroes, selecting from six available classes (Defender, Champion, Marksman, Vanguard, Arcanist, Sage). Heroes can be levelled up, and equipped with the best items looted from missions. But beware! Heroes can die, and the treatment of their injuries, curses, diseases take time. Between missions, make sure that Camelot has the right facilities for recovery, and prepare different heroes for different quests.

The Morality Chart will represent the status between Christianity and Old Faith, between Tyranny and Righteousness, and will be impacted by the player's choices. This will influence both gameplay and narrative. Players can choose from four different difficulty modes, from laid-back storytelling to the most grueling battles. Those looking for an even bigger challenge can also try Roguelite Mode, where every small decision matters and the campaign unfolds with a roguelite twist.

At release, King Arthur: Knight's Tale will be available with English voice acting, and English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese text localization. After completing the campaign, players will be able to unlock the endgame, with tough new challenges, mythic bossfights, random quests, more loot and character progression, ultimately leading to the banishing of Balor, the monstrous god-king of the Fomorians.
