About Helvetii Game

Helvetii is a character-action game set in the Gallic Celtic Mythology. Players can choose from three characters and use the powers bestowed by primal deities to defeat their enemies. Players can use a variety of combat techniques, such as pummeling, juggling and slamming, to prove their skill in a stunning 2D presentation.

Welcome to Helvetii, an intense character-action game set in the ancient Swiss Gaul and inspired by Gallic Celtic Mythology. Take on the ever changing rot with three unique characters, each blessed with gifts and powers from the primal gods. With a closed-in camera, carefully detailed 2D environments and an enchanting soundtrack, Helvetii seeks to provide an immersive and visceral experience to players.

At the heart of the story is young War Chief Divico, who has subjugated a Roman Legion with the power of an ancient boon. However, this victory has come at a cost, as the result of his pact has unleashed a rot upon the land. With the help of the reclusive druid Nammeios and the half-beast Renart, Divico must journey to undo the source of the rot and restore what was lost inside him.

Players will be able to choose among three characters with their own unique playstyle and special attacks. Each character will have access to their own core moveset that will always feel complete, allowing them to dominate the legions of monsters. Along their path, players will also be able to find lost treasures, ancient burial mounds, curious owl shopkeepers, and altars containing powerful gods that can be harnessed to summon powerful summons and obtain items.

To ensure an intense and precise combat experience, Helvetii has been carefully fine-tuned. With a wide range of abilities and situations, it’s not just about finishing the fight, but doing it in style. Using acrobatic combos, taking advantage of the terrain, and mercilessly juggling opponents will provide players with the highest rewards.

Journey from untamed forests, to abandoned villages overtaken by cultists, to merciless snowy caps and beyond. Discover the ancient Celtic world of the Gauls, mixed in with more unique legends from Swiss and Germanic folklore. Uncover secrets and experience a world full of beauty, adventure and challenge.

Helvetii was created by Team KwaKwa, a humble studio based in Switzerland. This is a project the team has been working on for a long time and they are proud to share their passion for precise and intense character action mechanics with players all over the world.
