In Have a Nice Death, a 2D action roguelike, you take on the role of Death, whose employees have run amok and thrown the balance of souls off balance. You must use your trusty scythe to restore order and take back control, all while trying to find time for a much-needed vacation.

Have a Nice Death is an action-packed and lighthearted 2D roguelike game that follows the adventures of an overworked Death, whose employees have gone amok, throwing off the balance of souls and ruining all of his vacation plans. In order to restore the order and balance, the player must grab their trusty scythe and show their employees who's boss.

In Have a Nice Death, players can explore the dark yet charming procedurally-generated departments of Death Inc., meeting a diverse cast of characters—such as the affable Pump Quinn, an assistant with a pumpkin for a head—who will share the latest office gossip. Players can sharpen their skills, as well as their scythe, by engaging in fast-paced hack n' slash combat, utilizing over 30 unique weapons and spells that can be found and upgraded to create devastating combinations.

Since Death can't die, players must learn and earn as much as possible in order to overcome the numerous minions and bosses in each department of Death Incorporated.
