Fishing: North Atlantic – Enhanced Edition is a commercial fishing simulation game set in the majestic world of Canadian Nova Scotia. Players can explore the vast ocean and its diverse wildlife while seeking out their next big catch. With upgradable fishing boats, various fishing gear and techniques, it’s up to the player to progress in their fisherman career.

The game is the sequel to the popular simulation game Fishing: Barents Sea and offers a more realistic experience with upgraded atmospheric effects, North American vessels and updated fishing methods like harpoons, deep-line-buoy-fishing and lobster pots. Players can purchase larger boats and more advanced gear to increase their skills and increase their chances of success.

Fishing: North Atlantic offers 29 ships with different capabilities for all types of fishing styles and techniques. Players can use harpoons to hunt swordfish and tuna, deep-lines to catch snow crabs and lobster, long-line, net and trawling to capture other species. The game features a dynamic fish price system and habitats, with the fish swimming and moving according to the season and weather.

The huge map of Nova Scotia (200x300km) features six realistic ports with real handcrafted boats provided by fishing industry license partners: A.F. Theriault & Son, Skipasyn, Scanmar, Hermes, Selfa, Moen Marin, Pronav, NorSap and Mostein. The game also features a new custom start option and a volumetric cloud system.

Players can plan the course of their fishing career throughout the whole year, taking into account the rain, snow and the best fishing areas to avoid exceeding their quotas. The advanced fish-AI requires the use of GPS and sonar to keep track of the prey based on the weather and season.

Players will be able to enjoy the realistic atmosphere of Fishing: North Atlantic – Enhanced Edition, with realistic weather data from the area and an upgrade of the watershader and weather system.
