Ethernal is an action-packed roguelite/FPS game in which players find and craft their own equipment and battle against robots, cyborgs, and bosses across procedural levels in the ERE facilities of Titan in search of revenge. Welcome to Ethernal, a roguelite/FPS with an intense action-packed gameplay that combines weapons and powers in deadly levels. Set in Saturn’s moon, Titan, you will embark on an epic journey of revenge at the ERE facilities. Will you survive?

In Ethernal, you will have the ability to choose between weapons and powers that will allow you to go on a rampage against your enemies. You can choose between a full auto shotgun for aggressive playstyle, Atlas revolver for keeping your distance, nuclear rocket launcher for feeling the power of the atom, or just stabbing with your laser dagger and sending your foes to robohell.

Progression in Ethernal is divided into tiers, from 1 to 10, and as you progress, the difficulty of the game will increase. Along with it, the game offers three ways of progression: Weapons, Powers and Upgrades. Weapons and Powers can be found by exploring and unlocking blueprints that will allow you to craft them. Upgrades are crafted with components found during your exploration and will help your character to have more health, injections, Ether, and more.

Enemies in Ethernal are divided into three categories: Pawns, Elites and Bosses. Pawns are the most common and will be scaled up to become increasingly dangerous as you progress. Elites are minibosses that can spawn randomly, and Bosses are the most powerful enemies and you will have to defeat them once to win the game.

Gamemodes in Ethernal are divided into three modes: Etherlike, Roguelite and Roguelike. Etherlike is the recommended mode, as you will have to beat every tier before being able to save. Roguelite mode will save progress even if you die, but you will have to complete every tier again. Roguelike mode will have you start from the beginning if you die.

The story of Ethernal follows a young field engineer who has been assigned to Titan to work for the ERE, an organization focused on the extraction, research and refining of Ether, a blue substance found all around Saturn. After extensive research, the new liquid was successfully refined and used as energy for all sorts of things. However, something happened and you must now go on a journey of revenge against all enemies you encounter.
