Players arrive alone, shipwrecked and with nothing but the scraps on their back, and must use their wits and the resources around them to survive.

The first step is to craft the tools needed to build a camp and survive in the wilds. As players become more experienced, they can build up their camp to a fortress, and craft powerful weapons and tools of hardened steel or obsidian. The center of the island is dominated by a dark tower, around which swirls a violent storm of pure chaos. This storm spawns demonic monstrosities, and conquering them is the only way to get their hands on powerful new resources and unique rewards.

In addition to the chaotic storm, surges of forbidden magic, granted by the elder god Nyarlathotep, shoot forth from the Tower of Siptah. Humans and creatures are teleported from the outside world, and brave souls must move quickly to capture them. Players can even charge into battle atop the ferocious Rhino mount, and use two new building sets to construct a small home or an entire city.

The island is strewn with shipwrecks, redwood forests, Acheronian ruins, Stygian colonies, and pirate camps. As players explore, they’ll uncover long-forgotten vaults holding the remnants of elder races from a distant past, as well as hidden halls, puzzles, and monsters to slay. Valuable treasures and powerful items such as armor sets, tools, and weapons can also be found.
