Pseudo and the creature they protect must flee from mercenaries of a powerful enemy, embarking on a dangerous journey to the unknown corners of a strange realm. Together, they must face untold perils in order to survive, hoping to eventually discover a way to outwit their pursuers and reclaim their freedom.

Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is an action-adventure game set in the strange land of Zenozoik, developed by ACE Team and published by Nacon. With a release date of 2023-03-09, players take on the role of Pseudo, a master of martial arts living as a recluse in Zenozoik. When Pseudo crosses paths with a small creature whose mysterious powers have attracted the attention of Gemini, the Mistress of the Artifacts, he decides to protect him unaware that much greater forces are involved.

Players embark on an adventure to explore the surreal and punk fantasy inspired land of Zenozoik, encountering interesting characters, creatures, and landscapes. Combat is based on martial arts and the ability to attack, dodge, block, stun, and counter parry to perform special attacks. Players are also able to switch to first-person view to perform unique techniques as they attempt to seize the opportunity to achieve victory in every battle.

Throughout their journey, players will learn various martial arts and are able to improve their characteristics and upgrade their attacks to develop their own unique style. Before battles, players can challenge their opponent to a game of dice with the winner defining the rules of the encounter including the ability to summon a monster as an ally, covering the area in fog, or having shackles limit movement.

Pseudo’s search for the Great Artifacts will take him farther than he ever imagined, facing mercenaries and developing his friendship with the Boy all while confronting his past and discovering the sources of the chaotic society of Zenozoik.

Clash: Artifacts of Chaos takes place in the same universe as Zeno Clash and Zeno Clash II, but the game is entirely independent and offers players a unique experience.
