In Touhou Mystia's Izakaya Game, players take on the role of Mystia, the owner of a small izakaya in Gensokyo. Players can collect ingredients by day, cater to customers by night, learn recipes from characters from the Touhou Project, and become the top izakaya owner in all of Gensokyo in this pixel art restaurant simulator.

Today, the young night sparrow youkai Mystia Lorelei is still chasing her dream—— the dream to become the most popular izakaya owner in Gensokyo. Day after day, she worked hard making a name for herself and attracting customers from all over Gensokyo.

But then, on one fateful day, a certain customer paid her a visit. On that day, both her dream and her future were shattered. Having lost everything, she had to restart from scratch. And so, her life indebted to the tyrannical Yakumo family began...

As Mystia, you will build, manage and grow your own izakaya while catering to the needs and wants of your customers. Collect ingredients by day, serve dishes and beverages to customers by night, learn new recipes, and become the best izakaya owner in all of Gensokyo!

The core gameplay of Touhou Mystia's Izakaya Game revolves around serving customers with their preferences and ensuring they leave with a smile on their faces. Each customer has different preferences, budgets, and favourite dishes. Serve the perfect dish to each customer with music and love, and they will reward you with special “reward spell cards”.

String these reward spell cards into powerful combos and you will be able to earn a hundred thousand yen a night! However, be careful as if you disappoint them, they will unleash their “punish spell cards” and punish you in the name of Gensokyo!

Touhou Mystia's Izakaya Game also features numerous characters and events. During the day, Mystia can communicate with customers and build bonds with them, which will result in them providing her with powerful support. At night, Mystia can gain companions who can help with running the restaurant, allowing her to relax.

During her conversations with customers, Mystia can learn their stories, whether happy or sad. The game also features six primary locations such as Youkai Trail, Human Village, Hakurei Shrine, Scarlet Devil Mansion, Bamboo Forest of The Lost, and Hakugyokurou, which are all meticulously illustrated to recreate the details and settings from the source material.

In the basement of Mystia's izakaya, there are numerous collectibles such as costumes, event CG albums, soundtrack CDs, and decorations from friends. Players can put on their favorite costume, view the CGs for events that had occurred, listen to music, or use decorations to improve their business.
