Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is a real-time strategy videogame adaptation of the Games Workshop classic tabletop game, pitting the Chaos, Imperium, Eldar, and Orks against each other in visceral space-battles. Developed with Unreal Engine 4, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada offers deep customization of each ship in the player’s fleet, both during and between battles. From the fastest frigates to the enormous, mile-long battleships, the player will be able to customize every aspect of the ships, including weaponry, defense and support systems, as well as crew, captains, and more, which will affect the performance of the ship and its special abilities in battle. After each battle, the admirals and crew of surviving ships will gain experience and promotions, making them even more battle-ready for future conflicts.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada also features an extensive multiplayer mode with persistent fleets, where up to four players can battle simultaneously. The game also features a story campaign, taking place during the 12th Black Crusade and putting players in the middle of the Gothic War between the Imperium and Abaddon the Despoiler. Players will be in command of fleets of gigantic ships as the Chaos unleash a consecutive chain of surprise attacks on Imperium worlds, kicking off twenty years of war in the sector.
