A lone developer has created a hardcore 2D action platformer, starring a memoryless rabbit named TOOK. Players must brave the expansive Moon Cave environment, taking on powerful enemies and gathering various treasures, in order to restore the Moon Up Group to its former glory.

TOOK, a memoryless rabbit, is lost in the mysterious world of Moon Cave. In order to find the moon, the inhabitants of this world have divided into two groups—those who believe it exists in the sky, and those who believe it is at the bottom. As one of the six knights of the Moon Up Group, TOOK must use his weapon to save the dying group and fulfill the oath of the past.

只兔：不灭的勇者 Game is an independent 2D action platformer developed by DoudouMengmengRabbit. It takes around one year to complete the development and 2500+ hours to create all the art materials using the pixel drawing software -aseprite-. Players can expect to face 15 distinctive bosses, 50 different items and skills, 1 main quest and 5 side stories, 6 areas with over 70 scenes, and many mini-games. Furthermore, all the sound and music are carefully selected from copyright-free music material sites by DoudouMengmengRabbit. It is scheduled to be released on March 8th, 2023.

In order to beat the powerful enemies, players must rely on their quick judgement and reflexes to dodge, block, and attack. Items and skills can be collected throughout the game and used to improve the character’s abilities. There are also many mini-games available, such as fishing, crab fighting, and stock market, to help provide a break from the intense battles.

The story of TOOK is told through simple cartoon animations and character dialogues.
