The story takes place after the events of the original AeternoBlade. Freyja, the protagonist, has been living a peaceful life with her friends in the Ridgerode village. However, one day, the dimensions begin to destabilize, and the existence of reality itself seems to be disappearing. Freyja's actions are believed to be the cause of this phenomenon, and in order to fix it, her journey begins once again.

On the other side of the world, two warriors named Bernard and Felix set out on a mission to Anan Fortress. They have received orders from the King of the Chronosian Kingdom to stop a disaster that will destroy the kingdom. A strange dark hole has appeared in the sky, and their fate will be revealed as they embark on their journey in AeternoBlade II.

Players will have the opportunity to play as three different characters: Freyja, Bernard, and Felix. Each hero possesses a unique combat move set and wields a different kind of AeternoBlade, a weapon that manipulates time. Sonne the AeternoBlade grants the power of Time Rewind, allowing players to resurrect themselves, amend mistakes, or send their foes back in time. Nuvaran the AeternoBlade bestows the power of Time Stop, enabling players to prevent undesirable changes and control the relative pacing of time. Framtider the AeternoBlade grants the power of Time Paradox, allowing players to convolute with alternate timelines, foresee the future, and defy it.

No matter how challenging the obstacles may seem, players can take solace in the fact that time is on their side.

AeternoBlade II: Infinity is a significant upgrade from the original version of AeternoBlade II. It features a 4K graphic enhancement, immersing players in a visually stunning experience. The game also introduces new and improved time-combat synergies and revises combat move sets. Enhanced and alternate powers are introduced to the three AeternoBlades, providing players with even more strategic options.
