A Hero's Rest is a medieval fantasy town management game developed and published by Vanargand Games. The game places you in the role of the proprietor of a fantasy town tasked by His Majesty The King with fending off the monsters threatening the land. You will need to recruit Heroes, manage resources, and supply your shops with the wares that your Heroes need for their adventures.

The game immerses you in a world abounding with Heroes and Monsters. As the town's proprietor, you will need to unleash your creativity and build your shops across multiple landscapes. From cozy little Taverns to huge Training Grounds, the choice is yours. Each shop brings a boon to your town, providing you with new ways to gather resources or interact with your Heroes' fates. To push your town's popularity to new heights, you will need to supply your shops with the necessary upgrades and decorations.

Crafting is a significant aspect of A Hero's Rest. You can craft gear across 13 (and soon to be 16) different categories and thousands of customization options. As you level up your crafting stations, you can provide higher quality gear for your Heroes. You can display your crafted gear across your shop's various displays and watch your Heroes wear the equipment they purchased.

You will need to use the tools provided to you by shops like the Innkeeper and the Apothecary to influence the fate of your Heroes and secure their safety.
