Without the Holy Water, the Miasma spread unchecked, rendering Ardéme a desolate and uninhabitable terrain.

The neighboring kingdom of Camrone granted refuge to Prince Danjaq, the heir to the Ardéme throne. Danjaq harbored a deep desire to reclaim the holy cup and restore his kingdom's glory. However, when the moment came to confront Ambrosius, Danjaq met the same fate as his father. The Miasma grew stronger and more voracious, emanating from mysterious Labyrinths scattered across the land.

In a desperate attempt to find a solution, Duke Baudricourt, the ruler of Camrone, assembled a force to investigate the Labyrinths. However, he soon realized that the Miasma had the power to manipulate these Labyrinths for its own evil purposes. With his troops falling victim to the traps and monsters within, Baudricourt sent out a call to courageous adventurers from all corners of the land, urging them to join the fight against the Miasma.
