Trouble is stirring on the shores of Aurania once more. An ambitious new faction has unearthed powerful relics, relics that can cause catastrophic consequences if used for the wrong reasons. Now more than ever, the world needs brave warriors to take to the battlefield and put an end to the strife. Enter Wargroove 2: a turn-based war game with a cast of new Commanders, each with their own unique abilities. Players will have to use their wits and tactical know-how to fight their way through three campaigns that follow one interweaving story.

The game introduces a new tiered ‘groove’ ability system, which allows Commanders to use powerful attacks to turn the tide of battle. With this system, Commanders can increase their chances of victory by supercharging their Groove ability to unleash a more powerful attack. Wargroove 2 also features a brand new roguelike single-player game mode called Conquest. Here, players can expect quick-paced, bite-sized battles where every choice has permanent consequences.

In addition to the campaign, Wargroove 2 also offers up to four-player co-op or versus battles, both locally and online. Players can also customize their own rules and play asynchronously, meaning that one player can take their turn while the others wait. For those who can’t wrangle their friends into battle, they can join the game’s Discord server to find a partner.

The game also offers extensive customization tools, such as an in-game editor, which allows players to create custom maps, cutscenes, and campaigns. These creations can then be shared with the community. Players also have full control over the rules, allowing them to create their own scenarios and stories.
