About VirtuaVerse Game

VirtuaVerse is an old-school cyberpunk-themed point & click adventure game set in a near-future world full of technomancers, AVR graffiti writers, hacker groups, cryptoshamans, digital archeology, cyberwars and virtual reality debauchery. Players will be challenged to explore this world and unravel its mysteries.

In the near future, humanity has become almost entirely dependent on a single Artificial Intelligence – a powerful AI that has taken control of the world’s governments, and has managed to impose a permanently integrated reality connected to a single neural network. This network is constantly processing personal data in order to optimize people’s experiences.

Not everyone is willing to comply with the new system, however. Nathan is an outsider who makes a living off the grid as a smuggler of modded hardware and cracked software. He wears a custom headset which allows him to turn AVR off, allowing him to see reality for what it truly is. Nathan lives in an apartment in the city with his girlfriend Jay, a talented AVR graffiti writer who uses drones to spread her techno-color artwork all over the augmented space in the city.

One morning, Nathan wakes up to find that Jay has gone missing. Before she left, she left a mysterious message on the bathroom mirror. Nathan is disconnected from AVR and is determined to find out what happened to Jay. His investigation leads him to Jay’s hacker group and a guild of AVR technomancers.

In order to find out what happened to Jay, Nathan must travel all over the world, visiting hardware graveyards and engaging in digital archeology. His journey will take him to tribes of cryptoshamans, and he will experience virtual reality debauchery.

Nathan must use all of his skills and resources in order to uncover the truth about Jay’s disappearance. He must confront the AI-controlled governments and their oppressive laws, and he must stay one step ahead of the powerful AI. Can Nathan save Jay and expose the truth about the new system?

VirtuaVerse is a challenging old school cyberpunk point & click adventure set in a future not so far away.
