Intrigued by this anomaly, they ventured further and discovered a mysterious cabin on the other side of the lake, suggesting someone or something resided there. The government decided to establish a military base to study this enigma, but within a mere 66 days, everyone involved vanished, except for Dr. John Ellis.

Dr. Ellis, who was outside the cave during the disappearances, came to a chilling realization. The Black Mountains acted as a nexus where multiple worlds intersected. The locals of the West Village confirmed the cave's malevolent nature, labeling it as a gate of hell. According to legend, the cave appears once every 66 years for a duration of 66 days, trapping anyone who enters within its clutches. Dr. Ellis, haunted by his findings, met a mysterious demise shortly after, leaving the cave undisturbed for 66 years.
