This new colony is self-sustainable and provides all the necessary resources for the human settlers, including breathable air, water, and food.

The main purpose of the colony is to research a nearby excavation site, which has revealed the existence of a highly advanced and intelligent alien civilization that once inhabited the planet. However, the research has also attracted some unwelcome visitors in the form of robots, built centuries ago by the aliens to protect their home. The robots are determined to eliminate any traces of other civilizations on Mars.

You take on the role of the protagonist, who is tasked with the mission of saving the colony and ridding the planet of the robotic threat. To do this, you must use a variety of futuristic weapons, as well as employ complex diplomatic maneuvers and strategies.
