Total War: WARHAMMER II - The Silence & The Fury is an exciting new Lords Pack for the popular strategy game Total War: WARHAMMER II. This expansion introduces two new Legendary Lords for the Lizardmen and the Beastmen factions, each with their own unique gameplay mechanics, units, and narrative objectives.

The first Legendary Lord introduced in the pack is Taurox, a rage-filled Doombull of the Beastmen. Taurox is nearly invincible, with a body made of living bronze. However, he has a weakness on his gargantuan neck that the Chaos gods promise can be eliminated through a ritual. Taurox embarks on a bloody rampage through Talabecland, gaining Momentum with each battle won. As his kill-streak continues, he is bestowed with greater gifts from the ruinous powers. Ultimately, Taurox must locate the Heart of the Dark and face off against Oxyotl, the revered Chameleon Skink.

The second Legendary Lord introduced is Oxyotl, a chameleon Skink of the Lizardmen. Oxyotl has a long history of fighting and succeeding against the forces of Chaos. His prescience allows him to detect where Chaos will strike next, and he can choose which threats to tackle. Oxyotl can instantly travel between his capital, unique mission areas, and any Silent Sanctums he has rediscovered. His final objective is to travel to the Heart of the Dark and confront Taurox in a desperate battle.

In addition to the new Legendary Lords, The Silence & The Fury introduces a range of new units for both factions. For the Beastmen, players can recruit the powerful Doombull Lord, who leads armies of ferocious Minotaurs into battle. The Wargor Hero is a brutal melee warrior who can buff other Beastmen units with support abilities. The Tuskgor Chariot is a high-mass chariot drawn by Tuskgors, causing massive impact damage to enemy units. The Ghorgon is a four-armed, ox-headed creature that excels at fighting other large units and can regenerate health in battle. Finally, the Jabberslythe is a sickening fusion of toad, sludge-drake, and insect, boasting powerful anti-infantry attacks and a passive leadership debuff.

For the Lizardmen, players can recruit the Skink Oracle Hero, mounted atop a mighty Troglodon and wielding a mix of different lores. The Chameleon Stalkers are aggressive and stealthy shock infantry, capable of moving unseen before launching vicious attacks. The Coatl is a highly intelligent flying monster that can cast devastating bombardment and vortex spells, also granting stalk to friendly units below it. The Feral Troglodon hails from the caves of Lustria and has a powerful venom-spit ranged attack, effective against other large creatures.

In addition to the new units, The Silence & The Fury introduces several new Regiments of Renown for both factions. These elite units have unique abilities and upgrades that make them even more formidable in battle. For the Beastmen, the Groghooves of Wolf's Run are centigors with throwing axes and poison attacks, as well as health regeneration through their Drunken Bravado ability. The Vorbergland Broodmother is a legendary Jabberslythe that can sunder armor with regular attacks and a powerful armor-piercing vortex. The Bloodbrute Behemoth is a legendary Ghorgon that deals more damage the lower an enemy's health is, making it a perfect monster-slayer.

For the Lizardmen, the Pale Death is a renowned Feral Troglodon that grants melee buffs to itself and nearby allies when using its Primeval Roar ability. Geltblöm's Terror is a legendary Feral Carnosaur that will never rampage and has vanguard and strider abilities, making it the ultimate first-strike monster hunter. The Spirit of Tepok is a legendary Coatl capable of casting the Shield of Thorns and Banishment spells.
