In The Riftbreaker, you take on the role of Captain Ashley S. Nowak - an elite scientist/commando piloting a powerful Mecha-Suit. As the Riftbreaker, you must use your skills to explore, survive and conquer dangerous alien worlds. The free prologue to the game is available online, giving you the chance to experience the thrill of controlling the Mecha-Suit for yourself.

Step into the shoes of Captain Ashley S. Nowak, the Riftbreaker: an elite scientist-commando with a powerful Mecha-Suit. You have been sent to the distant planet of Galatea 37, located on the far reaches of the Milky Way. Your mission is to construct a two-way rift back to Earth and establish a base that will facilitate further colonization.

You will face many challenges in your mission, from building up a complex chain of mines, refineries, power plants, and research facilities to defending your base from hostile creatures that have taken a disliking to your interference in the natural order of the planet. In addition, you will explore various biomes of the planet, discovering unknown fauna and flora, and harvesting rare minerals and substances.

The Riftbreaker will offer a remarkable degree of freedom in a procedurally generated world, allowing you to decide on the order of your priorities and what technologies you want to use. You can also customize the gameplay to suit your preferences, adjusting the frequency of enemy attacks, their strength and numbers, resource abundance, weather events, and more. If intense fight for survival is not your thing, then try out the Sandbox mode, where you will have control over the entire game.
