On the last night of summer camp, nine teenage counselors find themselves in a fight for survival as the sun sets and a night of horror awaits. They must navigate their way through a blood-drenched landscape filled with dangerous creatures, all while making tough choices in order to stay alive.
The night of summer camp is coming to an end, and nine teenage counselors are about to be thrust into an unpredictable night of horror. The Quarry Game, developed by Supermassive Games and published by 2K Games, is an adventure game that follows the counselors’ story as they attempt to survive the night.
Players will take on the roles of each of the nine camp counselors, as they make difficult choices and attempt to form relationships under the strain of the unknown. With realistic facial capture and filmic lighting techniques, the horrors of Hackett’s Quarry are brought to life in an intense cinematic experience.
The counselors will have to face a variety of challenges as they attempt to survive the night. From blood-drenched locals and creatures hunting them, to the choices they must make to stay alive, the counselors will be faced with the impossible. Will they dare to check what’s behind that trap door? Will they investigate the screams echoing from within the forest? Will they save their friends or desperately run for their life? Every choice, big or small, shapes their story and determines who lives to tell the tale.
The Quarry Game offers players the option to play with up to seven friends in online play, where invited players can watch along and vote on key decisions, creating a story shaped by the whole group. For those who prefer the traditional multiplayer experience, the game also has a party horror couch co-op mode, where each player controls a counselor and their actions.
No matter the mode, the game offers customizable difficulty for all gameplay elements for players of any skill level. For those who prefer to watch rather than play, the game also offers a Movie Mode, which allows players to sit back and enjoy the cinematic thriller.
The game has an all-star cast of Hollywood talent to bring the horror alive.
