The arrival of an extraterrestrial probe has fractured humanity into seven ideological factions. Taking the role of one of these factions, you must lead your chosen group to take control of Earth and expand into the Solar System. To do so, you must build a powerful network of politicians, scientists, and operatives, as well as engineer ships and build space stations to explore and colonize the Solar System.

The Solar System is a vast and ever-changing landscape of asteroids, moons, dwarf planets, and gas giants. You must exploit these resources to build and power your fleet, while being careful to avoid alien activity. As you explore, you must also seek out allies and loyal populations to convert followers of opposing ideologies.

The aliens remain mysterious in their motives, and you must uncover the truth behind their arrival. As your teams investigate sightings and your scientists race to explore new fields of research, you will be presented with difficult choices and must make the right decisions to survive.

Your faction must also compete with other groups for control points representing a region’s military, economic, and political leadership. To succeed, you must be able to unite or break apart nations as best serves your ends, while also seeking out like-minded populations and politicians. Tactical combat is also a key component, requiring careful planning and a realistic understanding of Newtonian physics.

Terra Invicta is built with modding support in mind, and much of the game is accessible to modders without a coding background. Whether you choose to focus on private projects or coordinate global research, this is your opportunity to take humanity’s first steps in colonizing our Solar System.
